Garden illustrations

This is a watercolor created as part of a nature series of illustrations.

My home is in a mountain zone that takes a long time to warm up enough for gardening.  Between snow fall and melting, I check for anything that may be growing.

I’ve pruned the Nanking Cherry, which had grown up into the branches of the aspens.  The cherry is a bee magnet, when blossoms have not been frozen by late snow.
