Among old family photos, I found this post card photo of my great grandparents, Peter Flynn and Bridget (Keaveny) Flynn, who immigrated to the US from Glenfarne, Leitrim, Ireland, in the 1880’s. The post mark is Nov 1911.
The letter is from my uncle Jim, who had gone home from Montana to Tintah, MN, writing to my uncle Pete who had stayed behind in Montana.
The card is addressed:
Mr. Peter Flynn
Delphia Mont.
The message: Dear Pete, Hope you are feeling O.K. again. I arrived home safe. This is a poor picture but the only card I have. We are all well. James
It would be lovely to see the photo in a higher resolution, is there one posted else where on line. K.keaveney
