Snow (sigh) typical springtime in the Rockies

These are the tulips I cut today because 5 to 8 inches of snow are forecast for tonight.

This year the crab apple tree I planted when my son was born has more flowers than ever before.  Unfortunately, the snow will probably do many of them in tonight.

It makes green June even more precious, I suppose, to endure these spring snows.
