The apple tree I planted 23 years ago for my son when he was born has finally had the right weather conditions to blossom completely. Until this year, we have only had a few blossoms here and there.
Cashman Nursery, in Bozeman, Montana, had a give-away of a bare root tree when a baby is born. All I had to do is carry Ryan to the nursery, and they handed me the bare root apple tree. “Here’s your tree for your baby!”
It is showing an awesome display this spring. The few apples I’ve had from the tree in the past have been small but sweet.
